PSA: If you are afraid to drive in the snow

I've lived in or plowed snow for over 40 years. I've never seen black ice.

you wouldn't usually see black ice at a time when you're plowing snow. you usually only see it when snow thaws out during the day and then freezes over when the temp drops again.

plowing snow is only really going to do anything when it's still in powder form. so you might plow during the day while it's melting. if you're in a salt truck that might be another thing.

You driving 5 or 10 MPH on a 45 MPH road is going to cause a wreck. And it probably won't be your coward ass that ends up getting creamed.

If you are an employer, if there is snow, tell your workers to work from home if possible so that less people are on the roads ...

If we are going with racism and ice, I think people who have suffered under the stereotype of "yellow" would be the ones who have the most right to complain.

1) Wet road from metling snow. Even when freezing temps thanks to the sun.
2) Sun goes away
3) water freezes in VERY thin layer.
