I have to listen to this guy's crappy bass every night from all the way across the parking lot when I'm waiting for my wife to get out of class. I'd like to start a vigilante service and break into all these fuckers cars, not steal anything, but take a piss all over their system. And living in an apartment you have to deal with these douchenoodles at all hours of the freaking night. Hey assnugget, how about I eat a big fat can of beans then press my ass cheeks against your bedroom window and let one rip while you're trying to sleep... it would have the same effect but you wouldn't hear the distinct buzz of a jalope's shitty trunk.

I agree with ya. Stupid fucking morons...put $2000 or more worth of stereo into their 78 Cutlass scraper...then every rivet and screw in the dammed car rattles and vibrates with the bass thump...

I don't remember if it was a state law, or just a local noise ordinance that was passed a few years ago, but if the cop can hear your LOUD music from more than 50 feet away, you can get a ticket for disturbing the peace. I wish they'd enforce that a bit more...

I don't give a fuck WHAT kind of music YOU want to listen to, just do so at a volume where I don't have to listen to it as well.

If your bass thump sets off car alarms as you drive down the road...it's too gawd-dammed loud.

Haha! I used to be one of those people back in high school and college. I would put on ear plugs so I could turn up the bass more. I could drive by rows and rows of cars in a parking lot setting off everyone's alarms. Fun times. I was young, stupid, and didn't have anything better to do.

yup i now how you feel. my neighbor across the street bought a brand new truck for his 17 year old son and tricked it out with a sound system. his son would crank that shit and literally shook my house. i wasnt a prick at first but when he cranked that shit at 9pm i made a visit and talked to his dad.

but yea OP i dont get it. there is more to music than bass.

My truck is pretty tame.. I think at full blast with all the windows down you might be able to hear it at 10ft.. I have people around me all the time (college campus) that blast music at all hours of day and night. I don't wake up from it at night, and don't care about it next to me at a light. Having two 12" subs was not bad, it allowed me to play the music a lot louder without crapping out the shitty stock speakers. I couldn't be bothered to spend more though.

I used to enjoy blasting the shit out of music, but now I only listen to select few songs pretty loudly only on some occasions. Just doesn't have the same appeal anymore. Sometimes the noise just gets annoying. I realized that a little peace and quiet is nice once in a while!

I've never had any problems with people blasting their music to the point of pissing me off though.
