Actually, it's usually the "Wing" part that throws them off.

If you MUST know the origins of my nick... Sitting around, bored one day. I was like... 7 or something. Looking for a nick. See my "Wing Commander: Armada" box. I become "Wing Cmdr"

This quickly evolves into Wing because that's what everyone called me anyway. From there, I discover that some other arseclowns camped out the name Wing on things like forums. Therefore, I invent the "I Am" convention (spelled Eye M because I'm e-thug like that). To make matters worse, on IRC, my nick is "Weng". Now THAT reeks of Asian
