wow...good things nowadays flaggers do their job, and quite well i might add. Their should have been a local yellow/caution if they are attending to a downed car. They are going quite fast even when all the medical is there to help the hit guy.
 
at first i thought his clothes got knocked off, but upon second viewing i think he was pretty much cut in half.

sounds about right, i wouldnt run across a race track with oncoming cars to save anyone because

well because you might get hit by one and get cut in two
