PSA: Häagen-Dazs five™ is the Best Ice Cream I've Ever Had

eits

Lifer
sooooo damn good

http://www.haagen-dazs.com/products/five.aspx

i've had the passion fruit, vanilla bean, milk chocolate, and lemon.

the passion fruit takes a little getting used to... after three or four bites, you realize it's pretty damn delicious.

what sets this ice cream apart from the rest, other than the ingredients, is the texture. this ice cream has the best texture ever.

go out and buy some. you won't regret it (unless you get the ginger one... i haven't had it, but it sounds awful).

Ginger sounds awesome. I had a craft made ginger ice cream at a fair once, and it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had.

not nearly as good as regular haagen dazs =P

vanilla swiss almond > *

have you tried it? it's ridiculously amazing. after having it, you'll be like "wtf was that dogshit i used to eat? swiss something?"

vanilla = good
coffee = not good

vanilla swiss almond still > both by a mile

that said, I will try some ginger next time I see it.

The ginger tastes great. My wife just got the lemon today but I haven't tried it.

do you like ginger? i want someone who doesn't like ginger to honestly vouch for it before i try it, because neither my gf nor i are fans of ginger... except she likes ginger ale...

yeah, i wouldn't imagine the coffee to be too good... but, then again, i don't like coffee too much since i quit smoking a while back.

try the passionfruit.

hmm I shall get some coffee and chocolate and combine them. that or the chocolate and mint. Then it will be epic

I do like the pickled ginger that is available with sushi but the ice cream has a more subtle/candied ginger taste.

Mmm...lemon sounds good.

I'll have to try vanilla bean, lemon, and coffee sometime.

I love coffee, but it's on very rare occasion that I jump up and think "I need me some coffee ice cream."

The coffee ice creams I have had are delicious. It's just, odd. I love coffee, and I love coffee ice cream and other cold coffee products. Yet, I just don't like buying coffee ice cream. 🙂

Typically because I always spring for Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough or Half Baked or Chocolate Brownie. 😀

But lemon... hmm.
And just a pure, simple, don't mess with it chocolate..

both sound delicious. Lemon especially as a spring/summer ice cream. 🙂

Haagen Dazs had a honey ice cream last year, not sure if it's still out (been a while since I bought). That stuff was absolutely fucking delicious.

Lately I've been going for a pint of ben and jerry's peanut butter cup ice cream. It's 1200 calories well spent. I try to limit it to once a week as long as I played hockey that week. That's my excuse.
