PSA: Grease Fire

I helped my neighbor put out a grease fire on her grill this afternoon. PSA -- unless you have the right kind of fire extinguisher, you might make it worse.

So what you are saying is the collective intake of breath from all the women nearby from the sight of your penis deprives the grease fire of the oxygen needed to continue burning? I may have to try this

Yeah, although I thought pretty much all modern common fire extinguishers were rated ABC, which would include grease fires (covered under B).

Id say anymore the bigger ones are probably all ABC. But i picked up 5 little ones (canned air sized pretty much) and its only a AB. Always worth doubling checking what you have.

The one grease fire i started (im a guy i shouldnt be cooking) i just put the lid over the pan which put it out right away. But i did go for the mini extinguisher right after i put the lid on
