Stanford is testing the quick return bonus which is already being used for the SMP client on several new A4 uniprocessor WU, so make sure you set up a passkey.

What kind of a bonus does it give?

The formulae are:

WU 10432 final_points = 425 * max(1,sqrt(11.62/elapsed_time_in_days))

WU 10433 final_points = 425 * max(1,sqrt(11.30/elapsed_time_in_days))

WU 10436/10437 final_points = 311 * max(1,sqrt(8.28/elapsed_time_in_days))

I have no idea how long these take though.

AFAIK only need to be running the uniprocessor client (Although apparently some of these were marked as SMP accidentally, but that has now been corrected.).

Ok, I set up 6 standard clients on 1090T x6 linux64 all with unique machine IDs with advmethods, "big" etc and am now crunching all core 78 WUs.

total PPD = 1700 🙁

Anyone actually getting the A4 WUs? Should I turn off advmethods?

I've been watching the server status page 5-15 times per day. Not until ten minutes ago have I seen any action on 171.64.65.80 or 171.64.65.81 - the servers giving the bonus WUs.
