Logitech is having major problems with their servers. If you try to connect your remote with them for updating..etc, you risk a good chance of hosing your remote. I updated my 880 Thursday night & it has been useless since then. Logitech is supposedly working on a fix, but there are a lot of pissed off harmony owners right now.

Issue seems to be resolved now. I am removing the sticky. Thanks again for a valuable service to our members by informing us here.

Thanks. I was actually planning on doing it soon to update a few buttons and the time but never got the motivation.

FUCK! I just killed mine and couldn't figure out WTF happened. It still appears to work but everytime I press a button the command gets sent several times. I've tried updating it again a bunch of times with no luck.

Hose your remote meaning you won't be able to use it until they correct their problem and you update again, or hose your remote meaning if you do a firmware upgrade it becomes a paper weight?

It appears to have been fixed. My 880 is working fine now after I connected with Logitech this morning.

Christ. People act like such idiots sometimes. It was a mistake, they worked all weekend to fix it, and its fixed.

People on there acted like their lives were ruined as a result. Your remote didn't work for a weekend. Oh, the humanity!!!
