PSA: Ellipses do not, never have, and never will replace periods.

So could you guys just not use them like this... It's really annoying, because periods are what you're supposed to use... Using ellipses in place of periods indicates you never made it past elementary school... This is not cool at all...

EDIT: There are legitimate uses of them, of course, but ending all sentences isn't one of them.

I'd put a period after my ellipses, but that would be sort of redundant...

Just write x = a cos(t), y = b sin(t) at the end of each sentence then. :cool:

Well in the movie "Sling Blade" the dude had a song and he actually said "dot dot dot" so I suppose I could type dot dot dot. Would that be OK?
