PSA: don't use Equifax 3-in-1 credit monitoring

Not only is the website annoying, but the payment and renewal information is misleading and extremely lacking. If you are the type of person to monitor your credit, I would highly suggest using another company or website.

I canceled my account and they charged me for an additional month. They are also unwilling to give a refund unless I call in, which I've done, but I sat on the phone for over 20 minutes twice in a row. Overall bad experience and the information they give about your credit isn't even that helpful and certainly not worth the money.

That is all.

I disagree. My experience with them was the exact opposite.

Were you paying to get your score as well?

Yes, I needed to monitor it for a while because we are getting ready to purchase a home. Their customer service is really the worst part. I could see it being somewhat acceptable as long as you don't run into any problems, but even then it is still somewhat lacking compared to other sites I have been using.

There is no way to ignore the part that I canceled the account and was charged for an additional month which they are unwilling to refund. That is ridiculous.

email after I canceled and they charged me for a month that I wasn't even using the service:

Thank you for contacting Equifax. We appreciate your business.

As was instructed, I called and got no where. I've been emailing pretty regularly at this point and they are giving me the run-around. The last phone extension I was given to speak with a customer service rep didn't even work and the customer service number on the website has left me on hold so long I had to hang up.

I'd also like to clarify that the subscription was canceled before the next billing period.
