Well, my freshly-built PC, with an Athlon 3000G, GTX 1650 D5, 16GB Team Group Vulcan Z memory, and an EVGA 500W 80Plus "White" PSU, kind of bit the dust.
I thought that I had the PC turned off, but I guess not. I spilled some tea on the rug next to the PC, and some must have run underneath the PC, only to get sucked up by the PSU.
I tried turning the PC on tonight, no-go. So I unplugged the ATX12V, and unplugged the 24-pin ATX, and attempted the "green jumper PSU check" test. No-go.
So I replaced the PSU, with ... an Apevia Captain 470W (no PCI-E, because the GTX 1650 doesn't need one). Well, it powered right up. Seems that the components were fine, just the PSU bit the dust.
The removed PSU had kind of a sticky coating on the bottom, a little bit, too.
So, yeah, DON'T DO THAT.
