PSA: Dont leave apples in direct sunlight in a car

Monday I bought about 12 apples from a local fruit market, and I left them in my vehicle for the whole day while I was at work. Anyways, I accidently left them in the back right next to a window in direct sunlight and they are now all ruined. Most of the apples turned mushy, and the few that were not mushy had brown spots throughout them. Had to throw them all away

Well how do you make applesauce? How many apples do you need, got any recipies? I will know next time in case I get a bad batch of apples or something.
