My friends dad is a fire fighter. He has had to do that a few times. Fighters LOVE to do that to asshats that park in front of hydrants.😉

Those asswipes could have routed their hose around the back of the car!

Considering the 5" threads are facing towards the front of the car... no, they couldn't have.

Okay, I'll give you that. What about routing it around the front then?

Because you deserve to have your windows busted out if you park in front of a fire hydrant, that's why 😛

Exactly!

Does the city pay for the repair of the vehicle after they do all the damage to it, or do they break the windows, get water inside the car, scratch the paint up, then slap the guy with a fine as well? Is there a sign that says that they will do all of that to your vehicle if parked in front of a fire hydrant?

Who cares? If you drive you should know that you aren't allowed to park in front of fire hydrants.

I care. That's why I asked the question. I'm not defending the person who parked there.

most fire hydrants have no parking painted on the road in front of them, also that is a possible question on drivers license exams

either way, firefighters will do the quickest thing to setup their equipment (think not just of fires and old empty buildings, but residential areas that are very populated)
