Let's try to remember that despite what the mainstream media, "Congresscritters", and other talking heads would have you believe, there is still a broad spectrum of political views that we as Americans hold. Unfortunately, this seems less apparent thanks to the polarization of our two-party system. Some of us lean more left than others, some would lean more to the right, but we shouldn't all flock to either extreme.

Based on some recent interviews of Trump voters, it is quite clear that they had different reasons for voting him in. Some already have their regrets, some are more supportive than ever. Similarly, some on the left didn't really think of Hillary as the best candidate, either, and some even voted for Trump. Just some food for thought over the next 4 years as I'm sure both sides are going to have a field day trolling each other, labelling each other and sowing more division.

It's all a reflection on mankind's rapid downward spiral.

We humans are willing to mistreat each other over our stupid countries, our stupid religions and our stupid politics.

Modern day US conservatives are effectively Fascists. Modern day US liberals are pragmatist centrists.

Well said. If one believes that one party or ideology is always correct, one isn't thinking.
