Vladimir Kramnik of Russia has defeated Veselin Topolav of Bulgaria in game 1 of their 12 game match in Elista,Republic of Kalmykia.The winner of the match will be the undisputed world champion.Tomorrows game will start at 6:00 am mountain time.

I'm surprised he managed to win that. I guess Topa couldn't handle the time pressure.

Yeah it was fairly close until that f5 move by Topolav. Still was a good game.
