PSA: Computers are not magic.

If you can't(or won't) explain your problem, then no one can fix it. There is no cure all to every problem.

That is all. :|

You lie! Every computer has a magic "fix it" button that only a very few, highly paid technicians know of and they aren't going to tell anybody else where it is.

You should be ashamed lieing to people like that. :|

lol 🙂 What happened?

I get this all the time; my grandpa calls up and says "Help! my computer's broken!" So I ask him what's wrong, and it's either "Oh, I don't know. It's just broken! Fix it!" or "X has encoutered an error blah blah blah..." :|

HappyPuppy is right about the magic fix-it button -- it's called replace all the hardware and reformat 😉

Strange I thought it was the "separate user from keyboard" function.

I think that computers are magic. We use symbols in the proper order and various metals and objects of glass to scry into far away places, or divine the answers to any questions we wish to ask. How is that so different from what magicians through all the ages tried to do? Most of us understand what is going on no better than they did either.
