PSA: Classic Shell website hacked

It you downloaded classic shell yesterday it may contain malware, don't install it. Download it again, their website is now fixed.

They have instructions on how to remove the infection on their website also.

Oh hmmm... I downloaded it last night and seems to have installed and work fine, however the post shows a screenshot of July 30, 2016 9:35 pm where mine says July 30, 2016 9:05 am.

I was just about to post this.

Amazing how so many download sites are hijacked so easily. Glad I keep application installation files on my computer so I don't have to redownload them.

How lame is that? Someone is clearly jealous of CS and the wonderful package of tools that it represents to the common user.

Maybe, but someone knew the site was vulnerable and Classicshell older than 4.3 wouldn't work with the update that just came out and the timing was right to hack and upload a fake file and change the download link to FossHub.
