I believe the focus was likely on the consoles after all the pc version is mostly a free upgrade for folks. Can't complain too much for a freebie (I know some people are still buying the game after all these years but most of the sales (on pc) are a done thing.

I played through BS2 remastered and had no serious issues. I noticed a bug with exiting from the research menu. Otherwise I had a great time.

BS1 is about to start and I noticed I have the latest patch. So far the game looks fine. We'll see if there are any crashes or other odd issues.

The lack of savegame conversion from the original to this version is very annoying.
Guess people will just wait until the savegames are released for the last level they were on, I don't really find playing it again to be that compelling, if you just finished the original.

I'm almost done with my first play through of BS1. Really enjoyed it. Except for one thing: I killed Sander Cohen the first time I met him. Now I can't get into his apartment. I hate when games do that.

there 2 options:

1. reload the game before you killed and then don't attack him.

2. cheat: use noclip to enter the room.

I did the same thing, I reloaded. :( wasted an hour or two.

Just play the game a second time. There's a reason you have an option to either rescue or harvest the Little Sisters. It's an amazing game and well worth playing through multiple times.

I have the complete trilogy and the newly remastered trilogy. For sure this is my favorite series of games.. I hope they would do this for Dead Space series as well cause I really enjoyed these games. Would absolutely kill for a remaster version of the original game Prey.

Anybody tried this lately? I'm curious if the bugs have been ironed out or not. I've never actually finished the original Bioshock (and haven't played 2 or Infinite), and I'm thinking about trying it again.

Late last fall, I finished the enhanced edition of Bioshock (the first game). I don't recall any bugs. I very much enjoyed the game/experience and thought the enhancements added a lot (visuals were nicer, controls were smoother, no audio issues, etc.)
