Even though the brain has the ability to decipher incorrectly spelled words, I find it easy to just spell them correctly. This applies to grammar as well. I don't claim to have perfect grammar but the effort required to construct even marginally correct sentences is so little I don't see any reason not to.

Oh good, another thread justifying poor communication skills as though being unable to type words in your native tongue is some sort of virtue. Spelling words properly on a computer where basically every piece of software has some spellcheck function built-in is a really low bar to expect from people. If you can't be bothered to take an extra 30 seconds to ensure your post makes sense, why should I be bothered to read it?

Yeah, I get that and have no problem with it. I suppose my issue is, it's not something to celebrate. I find it especially hilarious in threads when a poster is attempting to "dress down" another poster, only to FUBAR the spelling and grammar while doing so - these instances are where grammar Nazis are more than welcome in my opinion.
