I still remember when you could go into a music store and pick up an MP3.

Ahh, the good ole days. Back then they had album covers and lyrics.

He's obviously talking about the fact that the media is always referring to mp3s as "digital music" and "digital revolutions" and so on.

That is incorrect. LD was an analogue medium. It could hold Digital bitstream for the audio but that is just a hack.

The important thing to remember is that 128kb/s MP3 is "CD quality".

That, and using vacuum tubes and Monster cable makes music warmer/better/louder/etc.
