People who have gotten their iPods recently know that they do not include any way to charge your iPod while your computer is off. In order to do so, normally you would have to buy the $29 adapter for the included USB charger.
Whatever you do DO NOT buy this, you don't have to
Simply set the jumper on your motherboard for the option to power on by a USB keyboard. This will always supply the USB ports (in some motherboards, only the ones on the back) with power allowing you to charge your iPod while the computer is off.
