For some reason it has just showed up for multiple people.
 
Showed up for me back in 2002 😕

Maybe this is the first time they've run windows update and clicked on the driver updates tab?

Are athlons K7's? Never knew that if so.

The supported hardware lists: AMD K7 Processor

Not for me. However it does want me to "update" my NVIDIA vidcard drivers to a version dated October 6, 2003 - from the version I run dated December 9, 2003. 😕

BTW: Shouldn't this not be in off topic?
 
Uhh, well, I kind of got that update FOREVER ago. Like, when I first switched to WinXP?

That update consists of a few key elements recompiled with Athlon optimizations.

Edit: WindowsUpdate is having a seizure, it showed up for me, and then errored out of the install telling me it was already installed. HEH.
 
When I went there a few minutes ago I saw the AMD update, but I didn't bother with it. Thought about it for a minute and decided to go ahead and get it. Went back to the page and it no longer shows for me😛
