PS3 won't recognize discs.

Ok, so I was playing Black Ops (Campaign) and my PS3 froze at the scene right after you blow up the boat. The screen goes black like it is going to go on to another scene but never comes back. The screen just stays black. So I hard shut down the console (from the power switch on the back) and then restart the game. It did save the last checkpoint so I had to do the level again. After completing the level, it froze in the exact same place, but this time I ejected the disc. It ejected fine and the took me back to the XMB screen, but it didn't recognize the game I had loaded. So I rebooted the whole thing again, nothing. I did a hard shutdown, nothing. Now it doesn't recognize any game (disc) I load. Do any of you guys know of anything else I can try to get this thing to recognize a disc again? It is a PS3 60GB model.



Update: Never mind. Tragedy averted. I just powered my PS3 back on and everything looks ok. Screw Black Ops though. I'm not going to have my console freeze on me a 3rd time. :|

when i first bought my PS3 i hat to reformat the HDD once when it froze, after that everything has been working fine
