He's saying that Xbox 360 has actual hardware while PS3 isn't even materialized as a system yet.
That's irrelevant IMO, because you're looking at a next gen system for the next 5 years. It doesn't matter that Xbox 360 is out now with a few crappy launch titles. You should wait until both are out to make a real judgement. Besides, then at least Xbox360 should have Halo 3 (ie good games).

you have to play monthly for xbox live (or get the starter kit, comes with a mic, game and one free year of XBL), but its worth it IMHO. There is usually no lag, your friends list is the same with all of the online games, broadband only. I love it.
