Has anyone experienced a situation where the PS3 would playback a video and the audio is ahead of the video and the framerate of the video is noticeably laggy? Is there a limit as to how high of a bitrate the PS3 can handle when it comes to playing back HD video?
Reason I ask is I was using Nvidia's new Shadowplay game DVR software and it works great. Records in 1080p 60fps. However the bitrate for the video is 30Mbps which doesn't seem like much but I regularly see the PS3 playback drop to 24Mbps or even less than 20Mbps at times. Are there video files that are simply too demanding for the PS3 to play back? I had the video file on the PS3 HDD during playback as well.
