G4TV - Remember how the PS3 version of Ghostbuster's graphics weren't all that great compared to the 360 version. Specifically, it was rendered at a lower resolution. Well, Terminal Reality has released a patch to get the PS3 resolution to the same size as the 360 resolution.

That's good, although it makes you wonder why it was released that way in the first place.

Timing. They wanted all the Ghostbusters games out in time for the 25th Anniversary of the film.

that's cool that they came back to patch the graphics up. can't really think of any 3rd party devs doing that for the PS3. They just give up since coding is a little harder or they just haven't figured it out yet.

I did and beat it. I didn't think it was that bad looking, then again i never saw any other version.

I liked the game though it was quite short. I might pick it up used when the patch comes out.

This proves once again that PS3 is atleast as capable as 360 despite having an older video card.

The PS3 is technically more powerful than the 360 but the problem is that third party devs are too cheap to hire someone who knows how to program for the Cell. I do partly blame Sony for that though because they have failed to aggressively market the console to both consumers and publishers. Hopefully this will change with the more reasonable priced slim.

having played both wii and ps3 versions, for once I am going to say that wii had the better game. It felt more fun to me, and closer to the humor of the movies. Some people may not like the cartoonish graphics on the wii though.

From the beginning, nobody was blaming the PS3 for the shortcoming of Ghostbusters. They were blaming Terminal Reality (the devs) for not getting the game up to snuff like they had promised.

Maybe it's because the side by side pictures are so small, and the larger versions can't be viewed side by side, but I don't see a noticeable difference between those pictures. They all look good enough to me. To me, the game just wasn't that much fun. Watching the Ghostbusters is more fun than playing Ghostbusters... playing Ghostbusters felt kind of like work.

Yeah I rented it and played it for a couple hours and that was certainly enough for me.
