PS3 USB cable?

Hey guys,

So I sit about 10 feet away from my TV and wanted a longer usb cable to replace the dinky 6 ft one that came with the PS3. Unfortunately, I can't find a place with a decent price for one (Buy.com has a 12 foot for $30!.) Any ideas? I don't really want to use a USB extension unless I have to.

hmm odd, as monoprice.com does not carry anything other than 6ft usb to mini-b cables.

btw, why you need the cable? the thing has great battery life. charge it overnight and your good to go for the entire day easily (and that would be if you play all day!). I easily go a week between charges, and that's when I actually play a bit. If I don't play much, i'll stretch that out a lot more.

It's not for constant use. I just ran out of juice yesterday in the middle of a battle and had to plug in, which meant sitting like 3 feet from the TV to finish the fight. Just want it around for emergencies like that.
