PS3 to use Blu-Ray?

lol, no vagueness there. But it's definitely a possibility...I'm just concerned with the costs, as right now, it's still very expensive, and still will be for a while. BD or HD-DVD, either way it's going to be awesome...can't wait until we get our first new player in the store. 🙂

i have over 100 dvds right now 🙁 I dont wanna have to buy them all again 🙁

You don't have to buy them again, it will be backwards compatible. Just buy new HD stuff as it is released...

interesting, then again sony has a habit of lying😉 ps3 is going to have distrib computing gaming remember?😉

It very well might have Blu-Ray, but as it stands right now, Blu-Ray isn't as close as we'd like it. As a 2005 technology, they're pushing the limits in unwise ways(i.e. will Blu-Ray discs hold up to abuse like DVD's; experience needed to answer that), so I would be mildly surprised if they used it.
