Any one know what SATA version the PS3 uses? 1 or 2?

If it is SATA2, it will support repeaters and I can split the SATA2 port into 2 additional ports, i will attach a harddrive on one and a SATA Ram Disk on the other way....this way I can expand the memory capacity of the PS3 and have ultimate computing power for a cheap price.

We have a Console Gaming sub-forum, try asking there! ;)

I bet someone in the Console Gaming forum knows. ;)

Hopefully you're willing to accept wikipedia as a source. :Q You could just check Wikipedia yourself. ;)

If you don't start cracking down on fools, I'm going to have to rescind my recommendation for you.
