How to upgrade drums?

  • Get the cymbal upgrade pack for your existing RB2 drums.

  • Get the Logitech drums because they're so cheap!

Anyone ever use these for Rock Band 2? I currently have an order from Amazon shipping me the two-cymbal pack upgrade for my RB2 drums. I saw a couple days ago I noticed on Amazon that they had the Logitech drums selling for $60, which seemed like a steal to me, but I'm not sure which way to go. For an extra $30 I could get a whole new drum set which includes the cymbals, but it only has three drum pads and not four.
 
Those are Guitar Hero-style drums. I wouldn't switch to them without having played that style first, a lot of people hate it.
 
Well, after a few months I realized I was just using the same 4 pads in the same position of the original.

I tried using the cymbals and all that, but I found it just made things that can go wrong. I regret buying it.
