PS3 -- Oblivion GOTY or Greatest Hits

Hi,

I can't decide if I should purchase GOTY edition (due to a quest glitch), or the standard & expansion separate. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks.

id say pc, because most of the content is free. but since you have ps3. get the jsut the game heh. the game is pretty big to begin with,

My pc is old and I don't upgrade it anytime soon. I'm worry about the glitch in the GOTY edition. Is it anything major? Thanks.

If you become a vampire, you can't complete the quest to cure it. I'd read it from other forums about the game. It's only in the GOTY edition.

I haven't heard or seen anything about the PS3 version being fixed. I have seen that you can solve this by renting the regular version, completing the quest and saving, then keep playing through GOTY. However if you have started shivering isles you'll lose all you SI progress and items you have.

Of course the easiest way to avoid this is avoid becoming a vampire. It's not part of the main game.

No patch, even though the developers knew about the glitch.

It's only $29.99 at Amazon for anyone interested, but I'm holding off on buying it.

Hes asking about the PS3 version. Read the title.

Amazon has the GOTY edition for 30 bucks for the PS3. I don't think they have any plans to fix that bug.

ahhh i avoided that quest...i tried it. but then realized had to feed often. so i went back to an old save point 🙁
