it will have immense hype
it will more than likely have the biggest selection of titles yet again.

or maybe well be really fortunate and the ps3 will be built by USING off the shelf computer parts,.weigh 80lbs and be the most obtrusive object in the living room!

It's on PS2.ign.com also. The XBox people will pull at anything to keep their spirits up since they know their games are crap compared to PS games.

BTW what is with making is some huge home entertainment console. I hope they plan on making a "lite" version - I just want a console to play games damnit. IMO they should even take out DVD playback capabilities if it will lower the cost any!
 
I knew the Cell thing would fall at the start. The links to each ps3 wouldb e FAR FAR too slow to make it work. We would all have to be on fibre optics or faster to make it work. The delay would suck.

I just hope its good and the price comes down to about £200 fast 😀. Games look good and you can get some online GT4 or whatever it has at the time. Online fighting games 😀

I'd laugh if Tallgeese's daughters play games and prefer the next gen Nintendo and Sony consoles. 😛

Never! With a name like TallGeese hes an otaku! And will love bboy, anime, ma, and all thing japanese including ps2+ 😀 He'll probably have the rest of the games and consoles though also.......

I just saw that article a little while ago. I like how it says it will give a headache to PS2 fanboys, not just fans but fanboys.
 
The Cell was BS from the start, did anyone really expect their sony toaster, TV, dishwasher, and neighbors water heater to link up to the PS3 and form some leet super friends distributed gaming box.

Heh, with two kids I barely have any time to play one console. Even if I did, MTG puts the smackdown on my videogame hobby pretty well.

Altho...I do wish I had kept my Dreamcast. Damn that was one sweet sweet console.

BTW: Be interesting to see if Nintendo puts out another console after Gamecube. No doubt that they will continue the Gameboy, tho.

And now, a question for the parents out there:
Ever been so worn out that you stack the deck so your kid gets the Queen Frostine card her very first turn, just so Candyland will be over faster? *raises hand*

BTW: We'd be putting our eight-week-old on the talk-show circuit if she could play console games at her age.
