PS3 media Server problems

Hello All.

I have read some problems on this and I just can't find a way out of this, hence my thread.

I have a PS3 on wireless and my pc on wireless. no problems here.
PS3 was on the left side of my living room, WAP on the right side of the living room and my PC in the other room.
All worked perfectly, I could see the PS3 media server, WMP and my computer on the playstation. Other than the occasional freezes in the larger files that come with the wireless..... no problems.

Here comes it. I moved the tv + PS3 to the right side of the room, closer to the WAP. Nothing changed other than that.
PS3 still sees my pc, still sees WMP, I can still ping my PS3, network is working fine but....... my ps3 media server and the PS3 just can't find eachother. Have updated the ps3. tried different versions of the media server but nothing.....

I am without atm, hope someone can help me

do a complete uninstall of ps3ms and install 1.52.1

Are you close enough to the WAP to use ethernet?

make sure the ps3 media server service is disabled, as it can cause problems when you are also running ps3ms from the system tray. i like to just leave mine in the tray.
