It's not a big problem, and it certainly wouldn't keep me from buying something... but when you're trying to fit a lot of stuff in a small area those bricks get to be a real pain.
At least it's in the middle of the cord and not on the end that plugs into the wall.
On the N64 I think the brick was actually what plugged into the system, and the rest of the cord was just normal... that's nice.
