PS3 Greatest hits game for 9y/o

Its for his birthday... needs to be greatest hits (~$30)

He has NHL10 at the moment. He is pretty much terrible at any games, but I think adventure/platformer would suit him best.
He wishes he could have MW but his parents won't let him 😛

ratchet and clank or little big planet are both kid friendly in content, but still probably pretty advanced for him gameplay wise from the sounds of it

Can't think of anything better for him though.

Sounds like a good choice. I played Lego Star Wars, which was fun, kid friendly, and very simple.

This would be my suggestion. Buy him a PS store card and let him pick a few downloadable games from the store (with parental permission of course 😉 )

Just let him play whatever. I was playing Wolfenstein 3D when I was 9.
