PS3 firmware 2.70 broke my video play back

I updated my firmware on my PS3 tonight to 2.70 (should have known better than to do it without researching first) and sure enough it killed my video play back capabilities from media servers.

Has anyone else had this happen and found a way to get the playback working again?

Weird, TVersity works but streaming from my NAS directly no longer works....

You just haven't had good luck with updates and video processing, have you?

That sucks. I just use TVersity anyway, so no problems here.
