PS3 fightstick to PC (NVIDIA chipset issue?)

So, I thought I would post this in case someone knows a work-around.

To begin, I already know that I can buy a 7$ pci-usb so you don't need to mention that.

What I want to know is if there is a way to make my fightstick work through another means.

Here's the one I own (http://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightS.../dp/B001M25AY6)
I've had this for a while (for my PS3) and got it for cheap from madcatz site, but there is a known problem when connecting to the PC.

I found a support ticket someone submitted a long time ago that pretty much sums the issue:

What is this, "known problem" (other than possibly needing drivers) with using it on Windows? If it is a hardware issue with the USB controller, then you already have your solution. If it's something else, what have you tried for drivers?

If I knew the answer, I wouldn't be asking LOL. Anyway, I really have little to go on and am not upset if no one knows the answer, but every now and then you get someone that knows a niche thing like this.

I really don't think it has anything to do with drivers. It should be something associated with the USB controller not being compatible with "Nvidia chipsets". Like I said, the only known fix is buying the pci-usb for 7bucks but takes a slot and looks ugly, ha!

If you know a fix, I guess try it. So far, you haven't even described the problem.

It's been described. Just because you don't know the answer, doesn't mean it hasn't been described.

For example:
Most people say, "my computer doesn't work, what should I do?". No one says, "my computer doesn't work because the PSU is failing and old, and I need to replace it, what should I do to make my computer work again?". If they knew that, there would be no purpose of a question.

If you're not familiar with the problem or have no additional input, don't post here and waste space and time. I may sound harsh, but you sound like a troll, and I will treat any of your additional posts as such. I expect people to read the question and post if they can help.

Seeing that you cannot help at all Cerb, don't post here again.

The same back to you. If you expect any help, the onus is on you to describe what's wrong. "Doesn't work," isn't describing what's wrong. Some error code, a specific behavior, BSOD info, etc., would be describing the problem--IE, a description of symptoms. So, no, it has not been described at all, any more than, "my computer doesn't work," describes the problem of of not plugging in ethernet.

As stated previously, the error and problem are defined. Once again, you are reported for posting illogical and spam filled posts. Don't be mad that you can't solve the issue because you don't know how. Calm down dude, no one is asking you to help...in fact you're being asked to not help lol
