So I've been playing FFXIV on my PS3 and I've noticed that it disconnects a lot. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. Sometimes I go all day without an issue. Other times it happens and I can't log back on. When this is the case I get an error message:
The server is not responding.

But when I got to that site there's nothing that helps you troubleshoot. Searching for the code in any format doesn't fetch an article from SE or anything. And when I look at the FAQs regarding PS3 connectivity issues they all point to end user errors, like a broken modem, router, firewall issue, or outdated firmware/software.
All of my firmware/software is current and a non-issue with other games. I just played Destiny Beta with almost no hitch. I've port forwarded SE's server info through my router and have 100 Mbps down speed connection. I'm sure the problem is not on my end.
I'm just wondering if any other PS3 users have had similar issues, or if this still happens to a lot of PC and PS4 users. I've been considering upgrading to either one of those and am hesitant for this connectivity issue.
