The OP said he already has the Uncharted series, and I heard mixed reviews of GT5 (never played it myself).

If your interested, go read Popular Mechanics this month, there is a list of championship drivers who "started" on GT series and all claim it made them better, and more info on how several big name race shops are using it for training successful drivers. If you want to dig deeper there are several stories (mostly in European racing mags) on how its the most realistic driver.

GT is one of the BEST racing simulators period, bugs or no. Is it the most fun? depends on what you like, pure simulation or semi arcade racer.

personally love the GT series but Motorstorm (ps3 only) is the one i like for just fun.

Agreed with most here. Playing through Valkyria Chronicles for the 2nd time right now, what a fun game.

Love MGS, if you're into storyline based games, MGS is excellent.

I really enjoyed GT5 as well, from a simulator standpoint.

Also, if you're into sports games at all, MLB The Show is very very good (and I hate baseball).

the opposite of dudebro.

I'm glad I'm not drinking anything because it would of came out my nose.

I'll be the first to say this series. Little Big planet. I love a good side scroller and those 2 games were great.

Hell I bought a 320gb ps3 today because the price was so cheap I basically got it for free. The only exclusives I've played is LBP so this thread will hold me over till next August

I'll just toss in recommendations for the Yakuza games for adventure games. Tons of sidequests to do, minigames to play, and a pretty decent story.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is pretty good if you like your games difficult and fast paced.
