I just got my ps3 and I'm trying to take advantage of the cool features. How do I get the demos to play on my console? I visit the Playstation Store online often, but I cant find anything about downloading demos. Anybody have a link that they use? How often are demos released to play?
 
you need to create a Playstation Network account if you haven't already, from the PS3 console. Then go to the Playstation Store icon on the XMB. You can download/purchase everything from there.
 
Once you have your PSN account and go to the store, there are dozens of demo downloads in the store. You select one, select download in background, start downloading. You can keep doing this to build up a list of demos you want.

After you leave the store you'll see Download Manager running, click it to see progress on the demo at the top of the list.

Once a download is finished it appears as a capsule in the games list. Click it to start installing. Once the install finishes, click it to play.

Some good demos:
- Ratchet & Clank
- Dark Sector (people say just to rent this not buy)
- Armored Core (giant robot combat)
- Pixeljunk Monsters
