Heres what i think is wrong...

I had the ps3 hooked up and configured to use with a 1080p lcd tv via HDMI cable. I brought the ps3 to college and want to hook it up to a regular tv with composite cables. However, there are no images or sounds...wtf?

I figure that i need to go into the menu and change it to composite instead of HDMI...however, i cant SEE anything to be able to do this...so what can i do? Keep in mind i live and hour and a half away from home, and even if i took it back, i dont have that HDTV anymore.

thanks

I don't know the procedure, but google "reset ps3 display settings" and you'll get it.

The PS3 manual at Playstation.com has instructions about turning it off then turning it back on while holding down the power button for at least 5 seconds.

Read The Friendly Manual and you shall be saved!
