Ewwww ... I hate baby dolls. A couple of years ago, staying at a buddies place in his basement I went to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There was a thunderstorm outside, and when one of the flashes hit, I saw his wife's collection of baby dolls illuminated and nearly voided myself right there

Yeah, it was a very creepy and odd advertisement. Sony can do better than that. Way better.

I'm just wondering why Sony is advertising the PS3 so heavily when the PS3 launch numbers are going to be so scarce. They ran this commercial a couple of times during Sunday football games, during the World Series, and now during MNF. But, they just announced they are reducing the Japan launch numbers from 100k to 80k and I'm sure the NA numbers will get dropped as well.

Yes, sony loves the hype. Especially when they're going to make it on to the Today Show the day of launch and have them talk about why it's selling out so fast.

Yeah, the ones that hype up the cell and Blu-Ray are funny because they show these beautifully pre-rendered landscapes to explain the power of the cell and storage capacity of Blu-Ray and then show a butt-ugly WarHawk vid and then the worst vid of Resistance I've seen yet. They both clash horribly with the pre-rendered stuff that was shown first.

It's pretty funny, especially when you consider how some of the gameplay is laggy.
