PS3 campers are already in action.

I cant believe this. I drove by CC today, saw 2 tents and like 8 people in there 20's-30's or so. Drove by target saw the same exact thing, drove by walmart same thing just a few less people.

I was planing on heading straight from work on thurs. night and camping out at a store. Is it even worth trying? which store should I try?

I know this is all purposely done by Sony. My friend preordered one from gamestop, and the manager called him yesterday saying his will be delayed(he got the 16th preorder). However his will probably be available the next week! hmmm.. So Sony's idea was to just make the console very scarce for the launch week, then next week they'll suddenly have an enormous abundance, and of course they'll have plenty for Christmas.

Wait until early to mid next year to get one - then you might be able to without camping more than one night.

heh, what if you call the cops pretending to be the store manager or something and tell them the campers won't leave? i'd do that and i'm not even interested in getting a ps3
