PS3+big heavy 21" CRT= Hi-Def goodness?

I'm guessing its not going to be as easy as this?

From reading an article the video outputs on the PS3 are: 2 hdmi outputs, 1 av multi out, 1 SPDIF optical output.

I dont have the wallet for a nice big HDTV, so I was hoping I can still get the experience out of a 1920*1200 CRT.


How possible is this?

Wow, that seems crazy that they're using HDMI and not DVI. I guess they want to sell converters to everyone with DVI HDTV's. Is the AV multi-out component or just crappy composite cables?

I'm guessing its composite though, the high end output is covered by HDMI/SPDIF. Probably will have to purchase additional cabling for component out.
