Hold on, consumers, and put off the purchase of that holiday video-gaming console.

Want to know whether Microsoft's Xbox 360 or Sony's PlayStation 3 is the better console? Then head over to Harlem's Apollo Theater next week to watch a bunch of hip-hop stars do battle on a split-screen cyber-television display.

H3Enterprises, a company dedicated to hip-hop culture and lifestyle, is holding the event as a way to pitch its flat-screen, high-definition television technology designed specifically for video gamers. The Wednesday event will allow consumers to witness the same game being played on the same monitor at the same time on the rival video gaming systems.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, but the organizers are expecting a standing room only crowd, according to the company's communications officer, Adrian "Hollywood" Walton. "Everyone playing and watching will get an up-close visual comparison of each system's imagery and will be able to judge for themselves who's really best -- Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3," Walton says.

After Cam'ron, Jim Jones and others hip-hop stars wage their battles, the general public will also get a chance to try out the systems.

So it's about the graphics now? Also, what kind of moron goes to "a company dedicated to hip-hop culture and lifestyle" for high quality displays?

Ignorant people that listen to hip hop and drive H3s.

I'm just wondering how their "flat-screen, high-definition television technology" is "designed specifically for video gamers".
