PS3 and Wii wholesale

Back before the Xbox 360 launch, I saw some people on here buying Xbox 360s wholesale. I think they were $394 each with a minimum order of 20.

Well, I am definitely interested in buying some wholesale PS3s and Wiis. I figure it will be a pretty profitable enterprise. Does anyone know if there are any legit wholesale places out there that will allow preorders with a 10% or so deposit?

maybe the OP appreciates the bump, but he'll bump when neeeded. Of course, a lot of people nef, but your neffing is by and far the worse. It's annoying, so please, stop.

anyways, back on topic... I actually would like to know this information as well. For starters, you probably would need a reseller's permit to get such a discount. I think you can get discounts from any small, local retailer if you buy in bulk AND have a reseller's permit.

The wii might sell pretty well, but I dont think the ps3 will, it's too expensive to begin with. PLus, by December the economy will be in the crapper, so people wont be spending 1000 for a console. 400-500 for a wii maybe(but then you can get a 360 for that price so maybe not).

Sony is already talking about their manufacturing difficulties, so I don't think there will be any problem getting a reasonable price.

There will be 2 million PS3's worldwide, and they'll be sold out within the hour they go on sale.

Not sure about the Wii though.

I don't know about their 2 million estimated worldwide shipment by end of year, but since it's Playstation, the prices are going to get jacked up on ebay. If people are willing to pay $1000+ for an xbox 360 on launch day, how's a $599 price tag gonna hurt?

As for the Wii, it's gonna be in stock all over. Nintendo has had a good track record of in-stock systems. Hardware is current-gen, so a lot of the manufacturing difficulties should be out of the way.

I would not buy the Wii as an ebay investment. However, for ps3, I'd preorder it from everywhere possible.

jdrake, im not sure about you making other usless comments in other topics but in regards to this one. Saying "6$" discount and that "no one will buy" is incorrect. And continuing to support your argument is a sign of ignorance.

There have been carrots in the shape of female body parts that sold for a couple hundred on ebay.

You believe that sony won't be able to sell the ps3. That comes from your belief that its overprice, but also because its very expensive. very expensive also = low quantity.

Demand will exceed the initial quantity provided. That is surely guarenteed.

Economics proves that when demand exceeds quantity provided price can increase until demand equalizes with the quantity provided at x price. Marketing has proved that people will want the PS3.

I hereby declare your comment in at least this topic useless and if you continue to support your argument and go against the obvious, and main factors by which one would make a decision over the price/markup that will obviousely ensue then it is a clear sign of your ignorance.

I would reflect on this and perhaps next time hope to contribute a more sensible opinion.

Remember, this ATOT, ATOT is probably much smarter than the general public.

So... does anyone actually know where to get these wholesale? I don't want to debate the profitability of doing this, I really do not care if you think I'm going to lose money or that the PS3/Wii sucks.

400-500 from ebay right? i dont know why people are willing to pay up to double just to get it early.
...i dont see the point in getting a system as soon as it came out..i like to wait until i can just show up at a store and it will be there and give it time so some games come out.(not all launch games are good but i see a few wii ones that have caught my eye already.

It's my understanding that you shouldn't be able to buy any yet...

Gee really? We can't buy systems that aren't in production yet?

Well you failed miserably. He wants to buy them in wholesale when they become available. I'm sure he is aware that it is impossible to get them now as they are not being produced yet.
