ps3 80 Gig whenand where will it be released

I am looking more for the blu player but also some of the older games.

I know the upconverting is not super, but besides the devon what is in the blu market.

Overall I want one.
On release date can we just go down to CC or Worst buy and get one or is this going to be a limited release?

if so where do I order or pre order one?

If you hate Best Buy enough to call it Worst Buy, I would suggest you not go there to buy it then.

I believe the middle of the month was the rumored release time frame for the new updated 80GB PS3s.

just found this if anyone else is interested.

Walmart is having another promotion next week - $100 gift card with the purchase of a blu-ray player. this also includes the ps3 at $399 and the MGS4 bundle at $499.
So I am assuming that it will be relased next week and will be available every where.


and some people are getting price match from worst buy and a $100 worst buy gift card.

shingletingle I always call them worst buy not only because of every day HIGH prices but less than nothing customer satisfaction.
I will say its just my opinion...but I bet its also held by everyone who has been ganked by their service or lack of.

Damn! I had planned on getting the new bundle at Walmart during my lunch hour on the 12th. I hate taking days off that aren't Fridays or Mondays.
