PS2 - Worth it? First Thoughts?

Now that it's been all of one day, I thought I'd ask what everyone thinks of PS2, particularly those who own one (and who own a nice PC for gaming and other consoles). Are the launch games fun? What games did you get? How are the graphics? Any good multiplayer games? Do you think it was worth the price you paid for it?

I ask because I am still unsure whether I want to get one. Logically I would like to have every game system so that I can play every good game that comes out, but my wallet is complaining about the $400 tag after another controller and a game. I've already got an n64, DC, and very solid PC.

just wait until the price goes down.

you already have that many games anyway. play them first. it's not like you can play 3 games all at once.

yep i got one and the first games are cool especialy Mindnight Club, and even if it flops i still have a nice DVD player.....

Well it's not like I am likely to get one soon anyway. But if I do, the question becomes: keep it or sell it on an auction site?
