PS2 The Sims....excellent game!! Better than the PC!!

Just picked up The Sims for the PS2 yesterday for a hell of a deal at my local software store. They had a deal that if you traded in ANY PS2 game, they knocked $20 from the price. So I traded my age old NBA2K2 and got The Sims for $30!!

But anyways, this version is sooooo much better than the computer! The 3D perspective is much more immersive than the original 2D version on the computer. I was never a big fan of the PC version, but I can't put it down now that I'm playing it on the PS2. My brother, a Sims fanatic, watched me play for a while today, and commented on a few of the minor changes, all apparently for the better. One of the funnier moments was when I was playing the 'Get A Life' mode. I had just moved out of mom's house, into my own place. Well, one day, mom pays a visit while a girl (neighbor I guess) was over. I was talking to the girl, paying no attention to my mom. This was outside in the front. Well, after I was done talking, I ignored mom and went inside and watched TV. Things started getting heated between mom and the girl, until my mom slapped the girl!! Funny as hell, the girl started crying, then slapped mom back, then left. Mom then came in and started crying.

This is a crazy game. Anyone else have some funny stories??
