I am looking for a nice steering wheel game controller for my PS2. I came across KBToys.com and found that they have Interact V3 FX Racing Wheel 2 for $14.99. However, the product info does not specified any gas and brake pedal with it. I checked the Interact website (www.interact-acc.com) and found that the V3 FX Racing Wheel 2 is the only PS2 model that they make and it does come w/ gas and pedal pedal controller.

So if this is the case then I think this is a pretty hot deal at $14.99 for the second best PS2 steering wheel controller behind the Logitech one.

Maybe someone can confirm this. Thanks.

I'm definitely sure this is for PS2..but just a little unsure if it comes w/ the gas and brake pedal or not.

Let's all do some research, k?

Someone help...because I am about to order it. But well, it's only 15 bux...so can't hurt...still a good deal!!!

<< the wheel has no force feedback, that's the only concern. >>

I think it does. read the description..."Feel the road with vibration feedback."

$15 for force feedback wheel? Is it possible? I will throw my MS one one ebay and buy this one.

I know some wheel will draw power from USB and do vibrate, but not game controlled. It just keep vibrating.

If they say vibration feedback i'm very suspicious. Sounds like they want to pretend to be force feedback. It sounds more like "rumble" effects, which is just "a gimmick".

Does that mean it keeps rumbling all night even when you don't have a game on? :Q

PS2 doesn't support true force feedback--the wheel probably rumbles when you hit something or go off the paved road, just like the Dual Shock controller does.

It does vibrate like the PS2 controller. I posted a deal tonight that will get you the logitech force feedback wheel for the PC @ only $60 shipped AR. I've heard that wheel works on the PS2. If it works on my PC for MCO and on the PS2 for GT3A then it is an awesome deal.

Interesting deal, but
I went to B&M KBToys at Brea mall tonight, didn't see this wheel.

I only see
onsale $19.99 Madcaz wheel for N64,
onsale $19.99 no-name wheel for PS2/1 but looks without pedals,
regular price (can't see the price, too high) seems to be interact but the box doesn't have "interact" wheel for PS1,
onsale $59.99 Madcaz wheel with shift stick for PS1.

The shipping charge is a lot, althought it says you can return to any local store, we'll lose the shipping charge.

This wheel sucks big time! Don't buy it. Not worth it at all. I have the orginal VFx 1. It is supposed to be for the PS1 but it works for the PS2 as well. Really sucks. Go for the Logitech GT wheel. If you don't want to shell out the big bucks for it, the usb PC versions can be found for about $30-40. These work exactly like the PS2 versions. There is a newer PS2 version out that has some more buttons and a D-pad on it but otherwise the PC version is just as good. I've been using it for months now. The Force Feedback is definatley worth it.

So can I use a PC wheel if it is USB? I don't need two wheels, one for PC and one for PS2 if I can get a USB wheel that works for both?

WTF?

K, I finally got through the bottom of this. This game wheel that they advertised on their site is actually the V3 FX Racing Wheel for PSX (compatible w/ PS2). THIS IS NOT THE PS2 V3 FX RACING WHEEL. So don't get fool!!!! Does not come w/ gas and brake pedal which makes game playing kind of difficult. I bought it from a KB Store B&M last night to try it and I found it to sucked big time! The blue and white box is labelled "Entertainment" or something for $19.99. While you have to steer constantly (I played GT3), your finger has to be on the Accelerated button most of the time, which makes it very difficulty because the buttons are kind of in the middle.

Gonna return this tonite and look for a deal on the Logitech one. Btw, anyone knows a good deal on the Logitech one or the pc version which people say will work with PS2 also. Thanks in advance! :):D

the one I saw at kbtoys b&m has similar box to interact website but no "V3FX" on it, just "Racing Wheel for PlayStation". Could it be a special lower price version for kbtoys?

Also, could kbtoys.com misthought this one is the "V3FX Racing Wheel 2"? Walmart.com has it for $40 but out of stock, most places are selling it for $50 (should be the list price).

Yes the PC version works for the PS2 as long as it is the USB pc version. The PS2 version has blue handle grips while the PC version has red grips. I got my PC version on ubid over the summer for about $35 shipped. There are better deals I'm sure.

I found one here PS2 Wheel for $29.99. It calls it the Performance P-22113 Racing Wheel 2 w/ Built-In Vibration for PS2, and the picture seems to be one of the V3 (in blue), which would make the price pretty hot. In addition, the description does say it comes with a detacheable pedal unit.

Now before everyone jumps all over me, I do realize the link is of a vstore, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the referral part without losing the product link. Feel free to update the link, or just search a different Vstore yourself. I thought the price was hot enough to risk the post. :)

The ps2 does support true force feedback just look at the interact wheel that works especially well with gt3 it has true force feedback not just the lame rumbling.
